A fan of Overwatch 2 recently discovered an unusual issue with the highlight intro of the game's new Funky Doomfist skin. Highlight intros have been a significant cosmetic feature since the game's release, allowing players to showcase their unique plays after each match. While Overwatch 2 carried forward cosmetics from its predecessor, including skins, emotes, and voice lines, new additions like battle passes and the in-game shop continue to expand customization options. However, a Reddit user, Eastern-Chemistry-54, shared a clip highlighting an unexpected discrepancy in the Doomfist Highlight Intro. The video compared the Uppercut highlight intro with two different Doomfist skins, Bonebreaker and Funky.

In the clip, Doomfist's big fist shakes slightly before the Uppercut move with the Bonebreaker skin. When showcasing the same highlight intro with the Funky skin, the shaking motion is noticeably more pronounced. It remains unclear if this disparity is intentional or an oversight by Blizzard. Given the ongoing updates to Overwatch 2, it's possible that the Funky Doomfist skin will undergo adjustments in a future patch to address this highlight intro behavior. Players can acquire the Funky Doomfist skin by purchasing the Funky Doomfist bundle, priced at 2,100 Overwatch Coins. The bundle includes the Funky skin, Get Down Highlight Intro, Disco Ball Weapon Charm, and Funky Fist Name Card. Overwatch Coins are available in specific increments, and the bundle's cost is $19.99, with any leftover Coins remaining for future in-game purchases.
